Bagels: The Donut’s Cousin

Real quick: what kind of bagel can flip?
A plane bagel!
Get it??!!!

Now that the silly humor is out of the way, I wanted to share a super quick, super easy two ingredient bagel recipe that I make regularly and LOVE. While nothing can ever truly replace the fluffy chewy bakery bagels, I have found this is an awesome substitute for me and also has such great flavor.

All you need:
-2 cups coconut flour (can use self rising flour if you do not want to use coconut)
-1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
-Everything but the Bagel seasoning (optional)
-Egg wash (optional)

Mix together the flour and yogurt and knead for about 3 minutes for a well combined dough. Cut into four (or two depending on the size you want) chunks, then form into the bagel shape. I do a little egg wash on top, then a dash of EBTB seasoning, but you can use any seasoning you want (or NONE). Bake at 375 for about 15-20 minutes.

It’s that easy! Enjoy!
